Analisis Keausan Crankshaft Pada Engine C7.1 Unit Motor Grader Caterpillar

Crankshaft serves to change the movement up and down or straight piston from the combustion result into rotational movement ( rotation ), which will then be forwarded to the transmission. The rotation of the crankshaft is usually passed again not only to the transmission, but also to the camshaft via timming belt or timming gear or timming chain because it has a timming round similar to the valve decay. Because the crankshaft is the source of rotation on the engine that continues to rotate while the engine is working. So one of the causes of wear is a problem with the lubrication system in the engine. Therefore, the authors are interested in discussing more in the report on Caterpillar C7 engine crankshaftwearanalysis. Wear is the loss of a number of material surface layers due to friction between the solids and other objects. The definition of friction itself is the force of the resistance that resists movement between two solid surfaces that come into contact or solid with liquid.
